Getting Started with Pai-AngKong..

What is Pai Ang Kong?

Pai Ang Kong is actually a term used in Hokkien where we perform some sort of rituals or offerings to God (regardless of any specific religion).. or in a simpler term is to put your hands together and move upwards n downwards for a few times..

Why Shud we Pai Ang Kong Leh?

The main purpose of pai ang kong is to avoid from some kinda jack-ass source of evil from kacao-ing us in our lives.. Or another word mah is kia kui lor (scared of ghost).. of course not only that lar, we also need to have someone to poh pi (protection) or zhi tiam (guidance) from the above on our daily activities or even in some cases where its kinda personal like when u pangsai pang beh chut (shit kenot come out), you will eventually ask help from god to smoothen ur business ma..

Pai which Ang Kong?

All four of us are believers.. We don’t restrict ourselves into writing on one specific religion.. n we hope that we can go round n start writing on any ang kong biou (temples), churches and mosque (if we r allowed to)

What will you get from here?

When we were still small, we’d probably fed with some minimal knowledge on how to Pai Ang Kong. We will do according to what people actually told us to or just ignorantly isu isu zhak sah kee hniao on the hniao lor then consider ok liao, but is it the correct way on doing so? Or what is the reason of doing 3 times of kow tow to Lord Buddha instead of 30 times?

So, in this blog, we try to korek some Information on the history, the location, the interview with the people behind the scenes, the best practices, the DOs and DON’Ts, events & tua jit zhi and the most importantly is all about the existence of the god, deities, angels..

Where do we get the idea from?

Singaporean top movie maker Jack Neo gives us the inspiration on creating this blog.. From one of his hit movie called “I’m not Stupid” (小孩不笨:Xiao Hai Bu Ben), where laozharboh mentioned www.kuanyinma.com.. then suddenly it just strike our mind on doin so… but it takes a while for us to kick start it.. Paiseh paiseh!!

What’s the expectation on the public response?

Ermmm.. most importantly is to have reader comes by and read on our articles and perhaps, put your personal thoughts bout the site, the articles or anything at all.. We would be grateful if you could provide us with lotsa information for us write on your own temple/ churches/ religious orgnization.. n please bear in mind that our ang moh not very tua kong one ar, so have to close one eye ok!!
